Islamic history, book titles needed!

I am looking for some specific Islamic history books, explaining HOW Islam was spread. I know Islam was not spread by the Sword, but now I am wanting to learn more about how it was spread.

Any titles are welcome as long as it does have the spread of Islam in it, insha allah.

but its of 51 mb and pdf allowed as an attachment is only 47 mb.

S.E. Djazairi's History of Islam is my personal recommendation. It deals with the spread of Islam to the corners of the globe primarily from Western historical sources. While it most certainly covers the wars that took place to defend the faith or even to establish justice, it shows just how Islam reached South-East Asia etc., a spread which didn't involve military activity.

On the side, it's worth pointing out that many Christians who argue that Islam was spread by the sword are turning a blind-eye to a much darker history of their own faith [edited].

Wow you guys love books on PDF files, lol.

I cant stand reading long stuff on the computer, gives me a migrane. But I will try
I will look for these at a Georgia library. Alhamdulilah if 1 library in GA has the book, they will send that book to any other library in Georgia

I am also willing to buy books, if it is reccomended
