As Salamu 'aleikum I would like to inform you about a proposal of law in Italy that's now in the italian chamber that introduce a referendum for all new Mosques in Italy.
This means that if a Muslim community want to open a Mosque they must have the approval of citizens of the municipality and in Italy we've a big problem of Islamophobia, expecially in North-East where we've many Mosques.
This means that also old Mosques that we're re-building because these are too small for the Islamic Community needs this approval, without the approval the Mosque cannot be build.
I want to invite you and all people(Muslims and non Muslims)to send their opinions about this proposal of law to two italian deputees that have make, these are their email addresses:
