'son of man", "son of God", "Messiah", and "savior'.

Each of these terms are applied to other individuals apart from Jesus, Pbuh in the Bible. So it does not prove anything.

Jesus, Pbuh himself speaks of the peacemakers as "sons of God" (Matthew 5:9).

Sure enough he will bring up John 3:16,

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son..." Astaghfirullah

The same word translated as "only-begotten" is found at Hebrews 11:17.

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. (Hebrews 11:17)

In this verse the word refers to Isaac. The Bible itself shows that Isaac's older brother Ishmael outlived his father (Genesis 25:9). Therefore, at no time was Isaac, strictly speaking, the only-begotten son of Abraham. Recognizing this, Christian scholars qualify the meaning of the word in this case and give it a less than literal interpretation. But if the meaning is subject to interpretation here, why not also in the passage of John 3:16?

Again it does not prove anything. The words 'Son of God' and 'Only begotten son' does not and cannot have literal interpretation.

Sonship and divine nature would be necessary attributes of such an actuality, but these are incompatible. The first describes a recipient of life while the second describes One who received life from no one. These are mutually exclusive requirements then. To be a son is to be less than divine, and to be divine is to be no one's son.

The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30)

1. Christians belive that Jesus (pbuh) died on MAR-23 and resurrected on MAR-25. These dates agree precisely with the death and resurrection of Attis.

2. Christians and most Pagans eventually celebrated the birthday of their god-man on DEC-25.

3. An inscription to Mithras reads: "He who will not eat of my body and drink of my blood, so that he will be made on with me and I with him, the same shall not know salvation."

Compare that to:

John 6:53-54, Jesus is said to have repeated this theme: "...Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

4. The Bible records that during Jesus (pbuh) alleged crucifiction took place between two thieves. One went to heaven and the other to hell. In the Mithras mysteries, a common image showed Mithras flanked by two torchbearers, one on either side. One held a torch pointed upwards, the other downwards. This symbolized ascent to heaven or descent to hell.

5. In Attis, a bull was slaughtered while on a perforated platform. The animal's blood flowed down over an initiate who stood in a pit under the platform. The believer was then considered to have been "born again." Poor people could only afford a sheep, and so were literally washed in the blood of the lamb. This practice was interpreted symbolically by Christians.

Hard Rock Moslem

I'm your brother
There borrowed this from Geek mythology.

How about other sons of God in the Bible? Ask that person:

Adam - Luke 3:38
Solomon - II Samuel 7:13, 14
Israel - Exodus 4:22
Angels - Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7
David - Psalms 2:7

"Jesus" refused to be called son of God:

Luke 4:41, Luke 9:20

Tell them also what the Qur'an says:

Holy Qur'an, Surah Maryam - 19:88-89:

88: And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son, Christ], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]."

89: Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.

Assalamu alaykum Bro,

Jesus himself never claimed he was the son of God or EVEN GOD HIMSELF. Read soorah al-Ikhlas! There's a thread on TTI about reasons why Jesus isn't God. Check it out.

“And Jesus said to him, why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is GOD.” Mark 10:18
