Assalamu'alaikum,
Is it true that Shia is the one first started calling Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) as "karamallahu wajhah" (may Allah honour his face)?
I believe the correct way to address a Companion is "radhiallahu anhu" (may Allah be pleased with him) as per what Allah himself addressed them in the Qur'an (refer al-Bayyinah, 98:8). I stand to be corrected.
