When you think you’re better than others
When you care only about yourself
When you live in a world of your own and ignore others
When you don’t give Allah (swt) and His creation their rights
When you prefer your desires over Allah’s commandments
When you think that you can never be wrong
When you constantly find faults in others
When you don’t admit your own mistakes
When you don’t accept the status that Allah (swt) has given others over you
When you don't feel the need to ask for forgiveness
When you cannot tolerate other people being praised
When others’ achievements bother you
When you want every little good that you do to be known
When you publicize others’ weaknesses
When you think you’re indispensable
Arrogance: a little superficial fame in this dunya, but total degradation in the akhirah… is it worth it?
