1. Laughter has a strong influence on keeping the soul light and heart clear.
2. People who smile make their lives more joyful and are more productive.
3. A Muslim must always wear a happy cheerful face, not a subdued countenance. Islam is peace
and peace within should radiate happiness, not sadness.
4. Islam is not against laughter. Our noble Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) would laugh sometimes until
his molars became visible.
5. Islam does not tolerate rigidity and stern expression nor does it encourage giddy exuberance,
rather, it promotes seriousness when necessary and light heartedness when necessary.
