asalamu alaykum wrwb. would someone please give me a background about this man. i already know he is the president of pakistan and i know what kind of things he has done. and yes i'm one of those who detest him but obiviously my friend who is a convert for like 4 years now and who knows alot about the deen agrees and likes what he does. why? because her husband is pakistani and his dad is in musharaf's government. and my friend likes to please the man she loves, so she does what he does, says what he says and agrees with what he agrees with. she wasn't like this before. she stopped listening to music long time ago then she married him and she started listening to it and goes to parties with music and so on, why? because he does that and she is blinded by his love that she does whatever he likes. and you know what she told me "to put islam aside", "that muslims need to be more political like musharaf", oh and i told her that islamic shariah should be established and that inshallah allah's victory is near- she said " oh ni'mah then tell me when there is gonna be victory, i don't see any, and there's gonna be none!" so i haven't talked to her since then. she prefers her husband over ANYTHING, even the DEEN. it's outrageous. so please give me evidence so i can present it to her about this musharaf man. subhanallah. :salam2:

Honestly, I hate it when alot of new Muslims start to believe that Islam is what their "Muslim" friends portray it as. And you can't really blame them because the idiots within the Ummah are hard to pick apart and choosing Islam is an enormous step for new Muslims, so I'm sure many of them believe that the Muslims around them are going to be helpful. However as hypocrites do exist in the Muslim world, as in every other faith, I've observed that alot of them have managed to make reverts believe that "their Islam" is more comfortable to follow than actual Islam. This of course isn't everyone, but I've seen it happen with some. And it's sad because I'm sure there are other factors in there such as a loving friendship or relationship that may also conflict in the revert's decision-making as regarding that Muslim's actions, but sometimes those are what ruin a person. And it's sad when that person is a new Muslim, whom I'm sure expected their companion to guide them in the Deen and instead got led astray.

So tell her that if she wants to look at Islam, she should look at ISLAM, the RELIGION, and NOT the Muslims.

:salam2: she's just doing e'badah(worship of her husband)...as it's the only right of ALLAH the Almighty to be surrenderd to His each and every command!!...very sadly she's doing the same for her husband!!...
she just need to relook and revive the fundenmental beliefs in islam...she must understand these belives and then put an A'eqad (a knot) on that for never to be opened!!!...
may she and many others like her (including ourselves) Revert to islam in the real sense!!...Aameen!!..

musharaf is a puppet. he has killed and still killing mujahideen. do you remember lal masjid? he was behind the killing of the imam.
