Thats why im against "Globalisation" because thats not what it is , its more of an Americanisation. Its not an Take and Give.
Over here(in Germany) people know about American culture and history.
We know where KFC comes from, where hollywood is , ur actors , movies.....
Kids over here are wannabee rappers, we(Europe/Eastern World) adopt and know about their culture.
But u cant say the same thing about the american people(no dissrespect).
I dont think thats OK.

There are a lot of people over here that are trying to reverse that image of being a rap superstar, KFC (too oily), and what not. I agree that it has become unstoppable in our country. It is funny too because people here in the States work double time to send their kids to the best schools and all, but some of those kids do not appreciate it *shrugs*.

My high school education was not in depth with world politics, religions, cultures...Most of the high schools I attended were about atheletic programs.I had to restart my way of thinking when I went to college. My best friends growing up were Muslim, but I never knew the name "Muslim" until my college years.

I remember that the kids in school would whine and complain when they were "forced" to take 2 years of language or had to take another math.

Insha Allah the education system will get better. I was watching a documentary/conspiracy theory film about how the government is promoting us to think more with our right side of the brain and less focus on the left side. Anyways I will stop there about conspiracy films

All these Americans should be sent to a special class to learn geography (apparently some of them can't even find the US on a map), world history, world religions etc. This reminds me of the show that Canadians did called "Talking to Americans". We live right across the border from them and know everything about them. They live right across the border from us and know nothing about us. I found it interesting that when they were asked about the religion of Israel they said muslim and not jewish. I didn't expect that.
