Assalam alaikom wa rahma tullah wa burrahktohu,
Dear brother do remember to offer the prostration of shukr to Allah - for it is He who inspired us
This behaviour is I think one of the very best facets of ourselves that we can easily nurture and equally benefit from, it is such an inspiring form of worship to give to another muslim in need, the love for each other, the love for Allah subhana wa t'ala and the rewards that each receives are blessings and signs indeed.
Don't forget:
Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: "A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he neither oppresses him not does he fail him. Whosoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one grief of the Day of Judgment. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah will shield him on the Day of Resurrection." [Saheeh al-Bukharee] and, "Allah helps His slaves as long as he helps his brother." [Saheeh Muslim]
May Allah bless you and your wife with all that is good in the dunya and much greater than that in the ahquirah, bestow upon you pious offspring who will be the coolness of your eyes. Ameen.
