Allahu Akbar!

How wonderful! Tell us all about it! <soooooome of us have never even seen a Mosque>

Asalam alaikum dearest!

It was so wonderful! It wasn't a large mosque like Al-Farooq Masjid or Atlanta Masjid of Atlanta (both of which are gorgeous and majestic!!) it was small and well hidden behind the trees and shrubs. It didn't have any minarets or a domed roof... but it was a masjid nonetheless. I always dreamed that I would enter a huge, glittering mosque with marbled floors. Masha'Allah, this masjid was better than any other masjid. It was small and the ones who came were true to their iman... :hearts: It reminded me that how special life can be, how a small mosque nestled in north Atlanta could leave me breathless... When we arrived to As-Siddiq Masjid, I was very excited and surprisingly, I was a little overwhelmed. I went with Auntie Saadiqa, her daughters Zaynab, Medinah, Ayana and her hubby Tim, her two little brothers Ismail and Ibrahim, sister Shelly and her two cute girls Fariha and Jannah. Alhamdulilah. :hijabi: The parking lot was packed, and as in all mosques, the prayer rooms were seperated; Tim and the boys entered the men's area, while I and the other sisters entered the women's area. :hijabi:

 when i was coming to Germany i had the same idea of mosques :D. but got disappointed to see mosques hidden in buildings and with one or two rooms inside , but anyways They are blessings for us :D

nice to hear your experience Sister. it is always good to visit the mosque and especially when you meet very good people there subhanAllah.
