Introduction
'In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful'
All praise is due to Allah. We thank him, seek his guidance and forgiveness and to him we repent. We ask him to protect us from the evil of our selves and the shortcoming of our deeds. Whom so ever Allah guides is rightly guided and whom so ever Allah leaves to stray, for him, you will not find protectors to lead him to the right way. And we witness that there is no god but Allah and that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
My beloved in Allah,
Have you ever tried, in a moment of peace, to honestly say: “My Lord, I Love thee”, to say it deeply and devoutly from your heart?
You may think it is a trivial thing or you might even say: what is important about it? We all love Allah, and it is easy to say it. However, I do not think this will be your statement if you have ever experienced this. It is very easily said, but …..
How honest are you?
Are these words really from the heart?
Do you love Allah with all what you have got?
Do you love Allah so much to the extent that His love is greater in your heart than any other love?
I tried this with some brothers , and I asked them to write their comments while trying to say it deeply from their hearts without faking it and it was as I predicted , most of them failed to do so and wrote : whenever I try to say it I feel I am lying & I couldn’t do it most of the time.
Yes, love needs honesty and sincerity, one need to prove his love by one's behavior.
Abbad bin Mansour reported that some people at the time of the prophet - may peace and blessings be upon him - claimed that they love Allah. So Allah wanted to test them to verify their claim, therefore He said: Say, O Muhammad pbuh to mankin): "If you love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
And Jews & Christians claimed that they are Allah's sons & His lovers:
"We are the children of Allâh and His loved ones" (surat al Ma’eda:18) And Allah replied: “Say: Why then does He punish you for your sins?" Nay, you are but human beings, of those He has created, He forgives whom He wills and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allâh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and to Him is the return (of all)” (Surat al ma’eda: 18).
Allah states that love needs evidences, how do they claim this love while being punished by Him? If there isn't any evidence then these are mere words of love not the true love of Allah.
If you really love Allah tell me, what is your evidence? How do we claim to love Allah while we don’t follow His orders and abstain from what He forbids? May Allah pardon us and have mercy upon us.
You might ask: can the lover disobey his beloved (Allah)? The answer is: yes, everyone makes mistakes, we are neither prophets nor angels, but Allah's love makes you return and repent to Him whenever you have sinned and then you become like someone who has never sinned.
Al sha'abi said: if Allah loves someone his sins shall not harm him.
And Abd arRahman Ibn Zayd Ibn Aslam said: If Allah loves someone His love could go to the extent that Allah would say: do what you want, I will always forgive you.
This means that Allah will guide you to repent after every sin and to do your best to worship him to purify your heart from these sins, and if there wasn't any benefit from Allah's love except this, then this is really enough.
My beloved in Allah ,
Do you really want to love Allah and want Allah to love you?
Do you feel a need for your heart to encompass this pure love?
Are you ready to do your best to get this great honor?
Do you like to find the cure for constantly falling into sins?
Have you experienced love before and failed and were left with incurable psychological effects you need to get rid of?
Do you suffer from life's difficulties and obstacles and wish that Allah would save you from them and take care of you?
Would you like to enter the earthly paradise to know the real meaning of happiness through the delight of faith in your heart?
If this is your state, come with me on this journey of faith into Allah's love and we will feel this pure meaning with our hearts.
O Allah grant us your love, the love of your beloveds and the love of all deeds that shall help us get closer to your love.
O Allah we ask you an ever renewing faith in our hearts to know that nothing will be done without your will, and make us satisfied with what you have given us.
