salam..thanx for ur quick reply..sorry, maybe i should give u a direct question. It's neither taraweeh nor jumaah prayer. It is a daily prayer..I just feel pity to my mother cause she can't understand arabic and she is still learning how to pray. And most of the times, she's not doing it correctly, i mean the steps of salah and i just feel that i need to do something and maybe the best thing i can do is having a prayer together with her. I am also afraid that she might not be able to pronounce or say the surah correctly and thinking that i am too, not very good in my prayer:shymuslima1:, so i hope i can find the answer here. Thanks btw

Asalaamu Alaikum wr wb, the fatawa i pasted before was to do with women leading prayer in general not just in Tarawee.
If for the reason that you stated that it would help your mother with her Salah for you to lead the Jama'h at home then it is permissable.
So you should stand in between them in the centre and not ahead of them inshallah. Hope that helped sister. I have also pasted some useful weblinks for Muslim sisters which i hope you find useful. Please remember me in your duas.

Wa 'alaykumussalaam warahmatullaah,

Ibn Qudamah has quoted the difference of opinion on whether congregation for women is recommended, and then says about their leader: “The one who leads them should stand in the middle of the row. We do not know of a difference of opinion on this among those who support that one women may lead others in congregation. Since it is recommended for the women to be covered, ….. standing in the middle of the row makes it a better covering for her from the sides.”(Al-Mughni, 2/202)

The author of Al-Muhadhdhab (4/295) says: “It is sunnah that the leader of women in congregation stand in the middle of them as narrated about ‘Aa’ishah and Umm Salmah that they lead women and stood in the middle of their row.”

For further details refer to Jaami‘ Ahkaam Al-Nisaa’ by Al-‘Adawi (1/351).

And Allaah knows what is most correct and best.

To summarise, it is permissible for women to pray in their own congregation whether it is for the need you mentioned or even if the need isn't there.

And Allaah knows what is most correct and best.
