New from VA, US

Hello everyone, I just joined the community. I'm not a Muslim, but I have thought about converting, however I haven't made the final decision yet.

I have so many questions, but can't think of them at the moment. Was wondering if anyone here was from VA?

welcome to tti and insyaAllah to the family of islam.i pm u but i hvnt received any replies.if u hv anyhting just put forward ur questions.insyAllah we will clearify ur doubts.

just remember one thing.when u convert,ur doing it for Allah and urself.not for any of us.no one is going to force u and at the same time we dont want u to delay ur converting.

i know most people have problems and especially women.i myself a revert of 2 years and i am a woman.yet alhamdulilah i hv gone through the difficult phase of mylife and now am having a blessed life

If you don't have any questions than let us ask you. Don't feel any pressure to answer though. What is your religious back ground? what prompt you to seek a change? What is stopping you?

Thank you revert and peace2u for replying. Thank you both for your advice. I have been reading the different threads and replies today and I continue to do so.

I have been reading a lot of Islam and, being a woman, a lot of articles on the status of women and the expected treatment of women within Islam. I have learned a lot in such a short amount of time. Hopefully the path will become clear soon!
