Salaam Aliakum brothers and sisters,

just thought id drop in and introduce myself, i have been on this site a lot over the last 2 years, but dont think i got around to posting much.Dont get much leisure time online between work and studies these days so dont worry if i dissapear for a while :).

Im a 21 year old newbie from the westmidlands. Last March i took Shahadah,Alhamdulillah, and of all the research i did, perhaps it was the site that really showed me the warmth and the beauty of the Ummah better than any other.This site has been both informing and welcoming and it really warms my heart reading some of the posts and topics discussed here.To all of you, may Allah give u blessings for your efforts and may you continue to act as a light and a guidance to seekers or truth and fellow newbies to Islam.Just by being your good Muslim selves u are spreading the light and love of Allah further than i am sure any of you can imagine so keep up the good work.Jazakallah Khairun for everything.

I am based in west midlands, and would be interested to hear from others based in Birmingham cus im planning a move there in August, would be nice to get the Islamic lowdown on the place.
