And if Allah swt guides Oprah to Islam (in her trip, who in my opinion is pretty open minded) then what are you going to say? Do you know how much influence she has on Americans?

Even if she doesn't come across Islam, at least she can share her experiences and clear some misconceptions to many ignorant people out there.

The palestinian problem is political and WE NEED to support this petition so that Oprah will not ignore the appeal of MANY people for the sake of AIPAC who want her to be pro israel and thus benefiting Israel through her talk shows/publicity.

Please do not get too heated up.I thought this was a forum for all views regarding the given subject.

I have seen many countries/groups of muslims fall into error trying to depend on the approval of non muslim countries. I know it is hard for Palestinians and we as muslims should do all we can but asking assistance from non muslims to portray a muslim country in the real light in my opinion is not a good idea.

And this petition sounds like we are begging her to
"please make America understand!!!"

Isnt there enough videos and pictures of tortured Palestinians going around for people to see the truth.Doesnt the involved governments know the truth, doesnt many muslim countries see the truth but choose to kow tow to misguided ideals and ignore suffering muslims across the globe.

It is not the citizens of the American nation who do not understand, it is the government who will NOT see the TRUTH!!

How many/much evidence does the world need that muslims are being mercilessly slaughtered in the name of terror? Isreal occupies a land of another country and no one did anything. Do you think they will do anything now???
Another thing is do you think all those backing Oprah will assist her if she reverts to Islam?The media will shun her out of the International and national media.Think of who is controlling todays media??

It is not our place to assume things nor is it our place to trust a non believer to see the truth unless Allah wills.
I know for a fact that Ms Oprah uses her show to promote a lot of Chrisitan missions and missionaries and knowing that it is not right to beg/ask of her to assist the world in seeing light regarding the Islamic affairs in Palestine or any other country.
