Salam Alekum Brothers and Sisters,

I would like to announce that a peaceful demonstration will be held on Saturday, September 22 at Lafayette Park(across from the White House) in Washington D.C. at 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The purpose of the demonstration is to show solidarity with our Muslim Brothers and Sisters and those of other faiths who believe in defending the dignity of the Divine Messengers. We believe that Freedom of Speech should not be used to justify hatred and slander against the Illuminating personalities of history who are above all disrespect. There is a bus going from Dearborn, MI to the demostration. Online registration for the bus

All rational fair minded people practicing jewish, christian faith and Muslim faith must come forward to denounce ridicule against Divine Prophets such as Holy Prophet Mohammad PBUH>

It was emotional Friday khutbah at my masjid today. The imam said, "truth will prevail" no matter how they slander and insult our beloved Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) and he called upon Muslims to calm down and do not be excessive when showing our anger toward kuffars. I was in tears listening to his beautiful khutbah and the imam too was sobbing while delivering khutbah. After prayers, there was peaceful demonstration at US Embassy organised by political parties including those non Muslims politician, but I could not make it.
