please , help me about the authenticity of this hadeeth

Some of the Sahaabah complained about the waswaas that was bothering [?] them. Some of the companions of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said to him, ‘We find in ourselves thoughts that are too terrible to speak of.’ He said, ‘Are you really having such thoughts?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘That is a clear sign of faith.’” (Narrated by Muslim). (Narrated by Muslim, 132 from the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah).
Al-Nawawi said in his commentary on this hadeeth: “The Prophet’s words, ‘That is a clear sign of faith’ means, the fact that think of this waswaas as something terrible is a clear sign of faith, for if you dare not utter it and you are so afraid of it and of speaking of it, let alone believing it, this is the sign of one who has achieved perfect faith and who is free of doubt.”
And it was said that what it means is that the Shaytaan only whispers to those whom he despairs of tempting, because he is unable to tempt them. As for the kaafir, he can approach him in any manner he wants and is not restricted to waswaas, rather he can play with him however he wants. Based on this, what the hadeeth means is that the cause of waswaas is pure faith, or that waswaas is a sign of pure faith.

Jazak Allah sincerely, i feel i'm releived for some unknown reason , i was so scared i don't know why , when the doubt came in my mind, because you know it is disturbing to have inappropriate knowledge especially when u think it's correct, so in this case i prefered asking, and i can't tell you, for how long i've been looking for the article you posted (in the source) this is exaclty what i was looking for

*If you feel that you are being affected by this waswaas, say, “Aamantu Billaahi wa Rasoolihi (I believe in Allaah and His Messenger).” It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Shaytaan comes to one of you and says, ‘Who created you?’ And he says ‘Allaah.’ Then the Shaytaan says, ‘Who created Allaah?’ If that happens to any one of you, let him say, Aamantu Billaahi wa Rusulihi (I believe in Allaah and His Messenger). Then that will go away from him.”
(Narrated by Ahmad, 25671; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in al-Saheehah, 116).
*Turning away from waswaas and what it calls you to, and distracting yourself from it by keeping busy with worship and acts of obedience as much as possible. Hence the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told the one who was affected by waswaas: “Let him seek refuge with Allaah and stop (such thoughts).
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3276; Muslim, 134
“And if an evil whisper from Shaytaan (Satan) tries to turn you away (O Muhammad) (from doing good), then seek refuge in Allaah. Verily, He is the All‑Hearer, the All‑Knower”
[Fussilat 41:36]
May Allah help us from the whisperings of the accursed Shaytaan.....

i always come here to share my problems, but toaday i wan't to share the miracles that happened to me in only one day; it' s like Allah SWT , The Most Mercifull answered my prayers and also through people here Showed me the path , answered my prayers, and tears are dropping from my eyes while writting this
from the past weeks, i was so upset , i used to go sleep early after ishaa, and then i' would cry in my bed until i sleeps, sheytan's whispers made me feel so bad about me, i didn't even know that these were whispers from shetan i used to think , it 's me who have a problem and i'm a such a bad person that's why these thoughts come, but i tried hard to get rid of them without any long time success, i fasted many weeks i got up earlier , last night like all the nights i diddn't even do my homework and went sleeping but after crying i realized that now i will seriously find a solution and don't let this situation become an habbit ; and last night , after so many days ,i had a very beautifull dream , and i got up 3 times during the night to pray fajar, but i realized it was only 3am and then only 5 am
when i prayed fajar , i was feeling different, thansk to the dream i got up happy and i prayed with all concentration , then when i opened my computer to read Quran , i fisrt checked my mails and i saw this poem of my dear sister who has always been there to help me increasing my emaan ; when i read Quran i felt sooooo good , so peacefull, even if i tried to concentrate everyday, today without any effort i read each word and the beauty of Allah SWT message made me cry
and then i had this doubt about this hadith i just read today on another site and here people tell me it is authentic;
just to know the fact that this problem has been discussed by Our dear Prophet Muhammad SalleAllahuWa Aleyhi Wassalam made me realize How Mercifull Allah SWT is toward His creation , and that for every problem there is a solution
i just wanted to share my day, which is the best day of my life, and i wanted to share my joy here with all the people who helped me every time , because as an Ummah we should share our good days also not only our problems
and i have a request my dear humble sisters and brothers, that please pray that i definitely get rid of the past thoughts and every day of my life, i live it with the same Love of Allah SWT as i felt today, i know people here are pious Mashallah, you all have helped me so much, please just a request do remember me only one time in your prayer
i wish i could stop time and live like that forever, with this serenity , and this hope that Inshallah Allah SWT Will Forgive me

Alhamdulillaah that He shows mercy to His servants, and how He (swt) helps us whenever we sincerely turn to Him and ask His help. Even though we do not see the results immediately, after a while we see that Allah (swt) has helped us the way we didn't even think of.
