Asslamo Allaikum Brothers/Sisters,
No I am not back yet...just wanted to post the opinion of the Grand-Mufti & log out but got distracted by the message from the sister!
http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10189
My head agrees with the Fatwa but my heart doesn’t!
So things have not been well at TTI! People annoying others? I thought that was my job so who dares replace me as the chief annoyer at TTI!
So why I am back (temporarily)?
I walked out of my job yesterday & have yet to tell the Woo-man in my life; I suppose she will find out Monday morning when I don’t go to work
Its a high stakes poker game that I am playing and pretty confident that they will take me back in on much higher pay...Brother called me late last night and saying that “He” couldn’t sleep because “I” walked out! That was funny and nice knowing as to how much people care about you....I mean I walked out & he can't sleep (Masha'Allah)

In any case here are some things to cheer you guys up & if you want please feel free to share some real life humour:
Before I start the standard 3 :astag: :astag: :astag:
Scenario 1:
When I was in kindergarten in Pakistan...I decided to bunk school and go home; which was literally around the corner. So I started crying and saying that my grandmother has died and mom was supposed to come & pick me up but everybody was crying at home so they probably forgot!
Head teacher was so affected that she appointed one of the teachers to go drop me at home as she didn’t want to disturb the family while they were grieving by calling! So “little me” grabbed the finger of the teacher and walked home while constantly telling her about my grandmother and how she loved me and stuff!
P.S: My grandmother died in 1946 before Pakistan & we never saw her!
Scenario 2:
I was in Senior High in America and me & Debbie used to work once a week at Marshalls for 2-3 hours a week. Afterwards we used to go to Burger king to have a milkshake while our families picked us up! I used to carry a $50 bill & insisted that I pay for both of us; off course they always asked for change & Debbie paid most of time! She used to forget every week and I used to tell her look that’s not right and I will make sure that I have smaller bills next week so I will pay!

Scenario 3:
When I am in boot-camp in Illinois they used to give us standard food and no seconds! One day we got 1 slice of carrot cake each & I asked for two. The guy who was serving said sure, took a knife and cut my single slice in two!
Scenario 4:
In Urdu we have a word called “Jaan (Darling)” & it is respectful to add it to words like
Ammi (Mother) Jaan
Baba (Father) Jaan
Bhabi (Brother’s wife) Jaan
In college I was trying to be friendly with a Hindu girl who knew my family and she asked, “Do you call your Sister-in-law Bhabi Jaan”?
I said, “I call her Bhabi and my brother calls her Jaan”
It didn’t work & she never spoke to me again!
Scenario 5:
When I was in the Military there was this girl from Alabama (really annoying, feminist) and always made nasty comments about men like “Men are this, men are that, men are ruling everything...” she tried it with me once and I said, “well I am glad men rule everything because If it was up to women then Shopping would become the standard Aerobic activity and all toilet seats will be SCREWED DOWN!
And I end with standard 3 :astag: :astag: :astag:
Please feel free to share some of yours if you want!
P.S: I will reply to the PM's in time later Insha'Allah; won't be logged on to TTI much...
