Salaam,

So I know that when you're traveling you can combine Dhrur and Asr and then Maghrib and Isha. Are there any changes with Fajr? do you still pray it at the same time? Someone told me you could pray it later it just had to be in the morning? What do I do???

=)

I believe you can pray while sitting if you are unable to stand. There is a few hadith that describe the prophet PBUH during travel just be patient in sha Allah I or somebody else will quote them.

No, I am asking about what time to pray fajr while traveling. I have been praying at the regular time before sunrise... but someone told me that when you are 50 miles away from home you can pray it later in the morning?

Sister, what I know you can't combine or do it after sun rises unless you over slept in which case you must perform the prayer as soon as you get up.

I am sorry, but I ran out of patience. All I know, you must pray fajr on time even when you travel. In all the hadith and fatwa I looked at there is no pardon for fajr, with exception of being delayed of sleep very rarely. You can persue the search at this website :

I know when I travel I always try to make fajr on time even if that means pulling over the side of the road in a non muslim area. I do it thru out the USA and yes there are times when passer by ask me are u alright.
