Praying?

Salam you all. It's me and I have another question.

I learned just the basics about Islam from some buddies and the rest when I get time to search for it but, eveything gets really confusing after a while. I feel a little ashamed to ask so many questions to my friends all the time. (yeah I know-a guy thing )

Maybe somebody can help me. I only learned 1 sura and its the only 1 I say every day all day. Is this ok?

It is definitely okay! Mashallah you are blessed to know one surah at all! I am very happy that you have this surah memorized and in your heart. Inshallah with time and practice you will learn more surahs. May I ask which surah you have memorized? If you haven't memorized surah Fatiha this should inshallah be the next surah you memorize, because then you can learn the other components of salat and begin to pray salat. Or, do you mean that you know only one surah in addition to surah Fatiha and that this is the only surah that you use when you pray salat? In either case, any progress you make is a very good start. Perhaps though you can clarify what the situation is a bit more fully. May Allah reward you and keep you close to him always!

Bro memorise Al fatiha first . Is sura 1 = Alfatiha...?

2-don't feel ashamed.... just ask about everything y want to know
3-you must memorizing surat el FATIHA first . and check this link too it'll be very helpful

:salam2:Yes you can recite which ever surah you know. And in your case it is one that is fine. But brother there are lots of very short surah which are easy to memorize. The kids generally start to memorize those. Those are the last surahs in the Quran. Chesch them out. And congratulations that you are praying that itself is a great achievement
