Church activists launch signature drive for 'Allah' term.

Brothers and sisters, catholic church in Malaysia are demanding the govt to allow them to use the term "Allah" whenever they refer to God in their prayer, song, worship and in their publications. They also want to use term "Allah" in their bible. The Home Ministry has banned one of their publication for using the term "Allah" and the church has taken the matter to court.

I feel this is some kind of provocation to muslim in Malaysia. Fyi, in Malaysia bible is not allowed to be print in native languange of Malay which is also national languange and they can't use any terms that are similar to Islam. The reason was to avoid confusion among multi ethnic and multi religious Malaysians. This has been the practice for last 50 years but now they are questiong this one after one.

What is your opinion regarding this? Can they (christians) use the term "Allah"?

its a trick. they want to confuse the common man with the term Allah. the missionaries use various tactics n confusions thru which they have converted thousands in indonesia to christianity. Allah is the arab word for God but first the christians must prove who is Allah. jesus is not Allah, the holy spirit is not Allah. Allah is not the father of any nor is He is son of anyone. if their aqeedah (doctrine) is wrong then they should not use Allah because there is no one like Allah.

even arab christians use the term Allah al abba - God the Father in their prayers so why are malay catholics not using that?

brother, it will be very very dangerous. their aim is to spread the missionary works and deceive the muslims in malaysia. in my experience, in bangladesh they are fooling thousands of poor and uneducated people who live in the mountanous and very rural areas. those people they have no education at all, they know nothing just they know they have a muslim name and they are muslims. these people are very simple and kind hearted people but very poor. due to poverty they starve day by day. the christian missionary go to them, give money to them and tell them that both the religions islam and christianity is the religions of Allah. both are good religions. you can follow anyone you like, no problem at all. but if you follow islam , you will die starving , your kids and family has no shelter. but if you follow the prophet isa, and follow us, we will fulfill all your economic demands, serve everything you want. thus, they are making converted so many muslims. the christian missionaries are buying all the lands in rural areas on different names in secret. they are builing churches, missionary schools and many more houses to live. they bring all the new converted christians in this area. there is a boundary . noboday can go out of the area and can mix with the people outside. so , nobody knows outside that somebody has converted. there was a big issue three years before when 160 people converted to christianity and it was revealed in public. a lot of muslims went outraged against it. they started to protest against the attrocities of christian missionarties. but as the governments are always pro american there . they support and protect the missionary organizations. there is a big locality named "kaliakoyr" near dhaka city where they created a big christian locality, a muslim is not allowed to enter there , even a minister of government is not allowed to enter in this area without their prior permission. i am afraid, we are losing our place in bangladesh. only Allah knows what will happen oneday there.
so please, try hard to stop their provocation. otherwise, muslim will have to pay oneday in malaysia. it will be very wise decision not let them use the name of Allah on their books, songs whatever. by doing so, they will mix up everything, they will misuse it and they will have a good chance to fool people, especially poor in rural areas. I am just very very scared of them. please brother, do your best to let people alert about it.

thanks for your nice advice and i am 100 percent agree with you. we have to be very careful. we are losing our population in poor countries.

I totally agree with your brother. Our NGOs here are strongly oppose and the govt so far have put their foot down. Pls dua to Allah, hopefully the court will strike out their legal suit against govt.

malay catholics not using that?

99.99% Malays are believe to be muslim brother. So we do not aware any "malay catholics or christians" (unless they did that overseas).

we have to be very careful. we are losing our population in poor countries.

I know in neigbouring country they use money to lure the poor people into their religion. That's how christianity normally being spread here which first came during European colonialisation era lead by British, Dutch and the Portugese. In Malaysia, they can't easily conned the people with money as the authorities and our NGO activitists will immediately act against them. So they going intellectual way..I think they are gaining grounds little by little on each of their attempts...our govt has been very fair and reasonable to the non-muslim here. Only recently they start to provoke us...I'm sure there are outside elements that influence them to disturb the harmony enjoyed last 50 years.
