Question about carrying islamic book

im going on a trip to another city the trip is around 8-10 hour long ... i wanted to take some religious books on my way so i could study on the way but im not sure if i should they will be in my bag but i might have to put the bag on the floor cuz of the space in the bus, what should i do should i take them or not?

What is wrong with placing your bag on the floor even if it contains religious literature?? ... You're neither placing your bag in the trash nor on a filthy place!!!

Well ... cuz everyone feet are going to be on the floor and the bag is probably going to be near my feet like i dont want it to be disrespecful literature which might contain ALlah (swt) and Prophet (P.B.U.H) name

Brother, I know they have that in most of the buses but i get off before the regular stop ... and its really annoying to everyone if im standing on top of there head taking my bags off while they r sleeping or something

So is there a way of getting around this or shud i be cautious and just not take the books?

my suggestion is going to be a little technical so bear with me brother


Take the books...keep them in the bag...when you get on the bus...take off your shoes..and set them under the seat in front of you or even the one behind you...then put the bag between your legs...

that way if the bag is near your feet..and you're feeling a little weird about shoes being so close to it...you'll only have your socks on..and the bag will create a barrier between the floor and whatever dirt is on it and the books

thank you for the sugguestion sister ... inshallah i will try to do this .. it just depends how much snow we have lol cuz if there is a lot of snow there the floor is full of yucky water but im gonna try my best

I don't know why people look at me funny when I say I hate snow...*sigh*

Just to be on the safe side...stuff a few paper-towels in one of the pockets of your bag...and if there is water wipe it off..and lay the extra under the bag or even your feet...It might feel or seem a bit weird to you..but even without the books...you'll at least make sure your bag stays clean

sister thank u for the great sugguestions .. i gotto admit about something u hating snow made me laugh LOL cuz im the 2nd one who suffers from that problem like i cant tolerate snow ... well cuz i love to drive and not being able to afford snow tires just makes the driving extra fun LOL a
anywayz i'll try to do that i was also thinking actually hoping they have like a magizine holder behind seats so then i cud just take out the book and put it there and not worry about anything
