Question about keeping easter eggs in Muslim home???

Don't imitate the Christians or jews,or others. If you do so,actually its a contradiction to what you recite in every salah in every rakah Sura fatiha.
As you know Rasul (sas) used not to do like the pagans.Like he told the men to lengthen their beard and shorten their moustache,just to clearly declare that we r not amongth them.Like, He used to wear Long Dress(arab long dress....think u've got that)...but the pagans used to do same...then He(sas) and his Companions(mapwt) use to cut the side-edge of the dress.
The most inportant thing is: Prasad(sweetmeat;Hindus use to make in their religious occasions) are Haram,coz those were made to please their Gods and they use to made those with the name of their Lords....its haram.....any food that during preparation/zabiha of animal,if anyone take other than the name of Allah SWT,its Haram.
Think you can remember the Ayah of Quran.
Easters egg are also for such occasion,moreover than imitating its haram due to the later reason......hope you have got that and may Allah save us for these kind of activities.

I have question about keeping easter eggs in Muslim home. Is it is permissible that we keep them in our home, if we recive it from our neighbours???

Forget to mention one thing:Sometime we do not like to refuse the neighbors.But isnt that more important to pleae Allah and His Messenger(sas) rather than the neighbors.We can warmly thank them and just say with humble(as we cant be disrespectful to other religion (and how can we be disrespectful to our religion to show respect to others?)),I just can keep it as it is not permissible in our religion. That will not make you feel shy or anything but we should feel proud and inshallah they also gonna respect us.

It is not permissible at all to keep such eggs or even to accept them from Christians when they give it to us. We have to be strict in this and apologize from them in a nice way.
