when making salah, is there a number of times you should say Subhaana Rabbiyal Aala? if im not mistaken i read that 3,5 or 7 times as this was what the prophet did, but can you say it more times?

Yes you can especially if you doing nafil solat in which case you will be doing alone. However, the count preferably in singular numbers i.e. odd numbers 3,5,7,9,11,13 etc.

Reason: Allah is singular.

It's up to you how long you want to sujood unless you are following an imam then you can't as you have to raise from sujood with the imam. This is what my sheikh told me since day 1 I learn Islam.

As brother Tariq said the minimum is 3 times in each sujud; however it's sunnah to say it more time up to 10..BUT because i do not have any proof to bring here, do not take my word for it. Personally, i watched a video by a known sheikh, inshallaah i will post here as it is really beneficial.
