I hope my brothers and sisters can find any answer to what I am wondering.yesterday I watched at a film about the prophet Yusuf Alihi Salam.there is a scene in which Zuleikha(the wife of the king of Egypt),who in the past tried to seduce Yusuf, she repented and in 40 years she lost her beautiness and she bacame blind. When Zuleikha meets Yusuf for the last time she asks him forgiveness and he prays Allah to give her the sight:then in this scen she had her sight and after some moment she became as beautiful as in the past.Yusuf marries her....
I wonder if it is true.I searched on internet some hadith or some proofs in which Allah made such a miracle to this woman.I don't want to follow a wrong way.in Quran there is nothing about the "miracle" I watched in the film.
the scens seemed so emotional, that I shivered in some moments, but I fear that it was just the free interpretation of some writer.
Pleas show me the proof that Zuleikha began beautiful after 40 years and she started to see again.if reaally it exist a proof I'm happy to have watched that film, but on the contrary way,I ask Allah to forgive me:tti_sister::wasalam:

I don't know about the eyesight and beauty being restored but with reference to the marriage:

Many interpreters of the Quran may Allaah have mercy upon them stated that the Prophet Yoosuf (Joseph) may Allaah exalt his mention married the wife of Al-‘Azeez after her husband died. This narration is reported by Abu Al-Shaykh from Zayd ibn Aslam may Allaah have mercy upon him and its wording is that Yoosuf may Allaah exalt his mention married the wife of Al-‘Azeez and he found her virgin as her husband was impotent. However, this narration is not authentic from the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) and it might be that it was taken from the People of the Book.

In any case, a Muslim does not need to know whether or not Yoosuf may Allaah exalt his mention married the wife of Al-‘Azeez.

There is no excellence for Yoosuf may Allaah exalt his mention in marrying Zulaykhah, as he was the generous, son of the generous (Ya’qoob [Jocob] may Allaah exalt his mention), son of the generous (Ishaaq [Isaac] may Allaah exalt his mention).

Allaah Knows best.

it many be true or may not be as there is no any authentic information about this.

but it seems people have turned the whole episode into *love story* without seeing the depths and wisdom in their life incidents.

Based on what I've heard from Shaykh Abdulbary Yahya of Al Maghrib Institute, this was a false narration and that someone decided to make a love story out of the interactions between Yusuf alayhis salam and Zuleykha.

Also, he stated, it is not for a Prophet to marry a woman of doubtful character, such as Zuleykha.

It is unfortunate that those initiated such "vulgar" stories about the Messenger of Allah, Peach is upon him, did not know even abc about ancient Egypt.

And the one, who had bought him/Yu'suf, from/belonging to the City Misr [Egypt] said for [to] his wife imperatively,

"You make his stay dignified, perhaps he may benefit us or we might adopt him as our son" [please remember this scene/clip/footage and conversation throughout reading/watching this episode].
