Ramadan: lets feel *guilty* for sins in these last 10 days...

ahmed_indian

to Allah we belong
:salam2:,

nobody of us is perfect and we all sin. but lets not justify our faults and mistakes. eg. oh, first he backbite me, c'mon i stole just $1 dollar toffee from market, it was not a big lie, i am right no matter what, etc, etc.

lets accept our shortcomings and feel guilty. atleast pray to Allah to improve us and forgive our sins.

may Allah guide to His path and forgive our sins. ameen

Indeed brother. JazakAllaah khairan for the reminder.

`Aishah radhiallaahu` anha reported: The Messenger of Allaah Sall Allaahu`alayhi wa sallam used to strive more in worship during Ramadhaan than he strove in any other time of the year; and he would devote himself more (in the worship of Allaah) in the last ten nights of Ramadhaan than he strove in earlier part of the month. [Muslim]

`Aishah (radhiallaahu` anhu) reported: When the last ten nights (of Ramadhaan) would begin, the Messenger of Allaah Sall Allaahu`alayhi wa sallam would keep awake at night (for prayer and devotion), awaken his family and prepare himself to be more diligent in worship. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
“Whoever stands (for praying) on the night of Qadr, then Allaah سبحانه و تعالى would forgive him his previous sins.”
