Reading Qur'an Aloud in Mosque, Especially during Jumm'ah prayer!

I am fed up with trying to make salaat in the masjid, and having to cope with all the noice tens of people are making. Why can't they read Qur'an without humming etc... Even I can do it, move your lips without making a sound.

People need to concentrate when they pray and you have at least 4 people around reading aloud! Seriously, they should study the ettiquettes of reading thiss holy book.


There is a hadith that says (quoting out of memory) :

La yoshawwish qari'okom ala musallikum​

Meaning (my translation) :

Let the readers (of the Quran) NOT disrupt the people praying (around them).​

So please, stop reading aloud! You can always do it at home...

ASSALAMUALAIKUM Brother

This is exactly what happens in our mosques here.People raise their voices after salaah to recite adhkaar.It really irritates the person who is reading the sunnah prayer and other nawafil.Allah says in the Quran:

And remember your Lord by your tongue and within yourself, humbly and with fear without loudness in words in the mornings, and in the afternoons and be not of those who are neglectful.Surah: 7 Aya: 205.

Invoke your Lord with humility and in secret. He likes not the aggressors.Surah: 7 Aya: 55

As salamu 'alaikum akhi, I think you should tell them to do a bit more quitely in a very nice manner, in shaAllah maybe they may reduce the sound
