Reading a translated Quran ?

I don't do a special wudu when I read it in arabic....

The Qur'aan in a translated form is not the Qur'aan, it is just a translation. It may have defects, and for sure is not perfect. Therefore, since it is not the Qur'aan, touching it does not require that you have wudu.

There does come a slight difference of opinion as far as I know, if the translation of the Qur'aan is side by side with the Arabic text, but in general if it is completely in English then there is no problem touching it without wudu.
