I have heard that everyone feels the sakaratul mawt,the sufferring of death, it is hard for some and soft for some,but I heard the shuhada(martyrs) don't feel it,is it true?

Everyone will feel sakaratul mawt,is there any way we can soften that pain at the time of death?

from what i remember hearing about being in the grave; is that we are approached by two figures that ask us: Who is your Lord, what is your religion, and who was your messenger? if we answer in the negative, our graves become extremely tight and we are turned on our side to see the preview of the jahannam that awaits us until the day of judgement. for the one that answers correctly, we will be shown the jannah that awaits us, until the day of judgement. there's other details too, but are pretty lengthy.

sheikh feiz muhhamad in his " Death Series " mentioned that only those that have lived as if he believed ALLAH SWT was his lord, that islam was his religion and that Muhammad:saw: was his messenger; will be able to answer correctly.

all i pray for is that none of us has to go through the suffering of the grave. ameen

By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence;

By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers);

Praise be to Allaah.
It was reported in the hadeeth of al-Miqdaam ibn Ma’di Karb that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“The martyr (shaheed) has seven blessings from Allaah: he is forgiven from the moment his blood is first shed; he will be shown his place in Paradise; he will be spared the trial of the grave; and he will be secure on the Day of the Greatest Terror (the Day of Judgement); there will be placed on his head a crown of dignity, one ruby of which is better than this world and all that is in it; he will be married to seventy-two of al-hoor al-‘iyn; and he will be permitted to intercede for seventy of his relatives.”

According to another report, the martyr has six blessings from Allaah. According to other reports (the number is) six, or nine, or ten.
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, who said it is a hasan hadeeth. Also narrated by Ibn Maajah in al-Sunan, by Ahmad, by ‘Abd al-Razzaaq in al-Musannaf, by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer, and by Sa’eed ibn Mansoor in al-Sunan).

:jazaak: for sharing,alhamdulillah!
I found the following about martyrs,would like to share inshaAllah:

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “I swear by the One in Whose Hands my soul is, I wish that I would fight for the sake of Allaah (i.e., Jihaad) and get martyred, then return and fight again and get martyred, then return and fight again and get martyred” (Bukhaari & Muslim)

Marwaan said: “We asked ‘Abdullaah Ibn Mas’ood, may Allaah be pleased with him, about the following verse: (which translates as): “And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allaah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” (Aal-‘Imraan: 169).’ He, may Allaah be pleased with him, replied: “We asked the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam about this verse and he replied: “Their (i.e., the martyrs souls) will live inside green birds that dwell in designated lamps which hang on the throne of Allaah, they will roam freely in Paradise as they please, then return to these lamps”” (Muslim).

Al-Miqdaam Ibn Ma’di Karib, may Allaah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “A martyr has six bounties: He will be forgiven with the first drop of his blood that is spilt; He will see his place in Paradise (at the time of death); He will be saved from the ‘Great Horror’ (on the Day of Judgment): A Crown of Dignity will be placed on his head, which contains many corundums, each one being more precious than this life and all that it contains; He will have seventy two Women of Paradise; And, he will be allowed to intercede for seventy of his family members (who would have otherwise gone to hell).” (Tirmidhi & Ibn Maajah).

The pain that a martyr feels at the time of death will be reduced so greatly that he will only feel as if he was stung by a mosquito. Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “A martyr only feels from the effect of being killed that which one would when being stung by a mosquito.” (Tirmidhi, Nasaa’i and others).

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “A martyr only feels from the effect of being killed that which one would when being stung by a mosquito.” (Tirmidhi, Nasaa’i and others).

Samurah Ibn Jundub, may Allaah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “Last night I was inspired (through a dream); I saw two men come to me and take me up a tree (in Paradise) then into a dwelling which was the best I have ever seen; they informed me that it was the dwelling of the martyrs.” (Bukhaari).

Jaabir Ibn ‘Abdullaah, may Allah be pleased with him narrated: “My father’s body was brought to the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam on the day of Uhud. The disbelievers had mutilated it; I went to uncover his face when some of my family members stopped me. Then the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam heard a woman crying, so he said: “Why are you crying? Do not cry, the angels are continuing to shade him””.

Dear brother, I do not know real and complete answer for your question, but I know there is Ayah in Quran where Allah sais to us that when one dies and he is Muslim and Mumin( beliver),Angles are taking his soul on soft way, while to disbelivers and sinners Angles are coming to them and are pulling their souls on roughly way.And Allah knows the best.

This is explination of this Ayah from Ibn Kethir:

"(By those who pull out, drowning.) "These are the angels who remove the souls from the Children of Adam.'' Among them are those whose souls are removed by the angels with difficulty, as if he is being drowned during its removal. There are those people whose souls the angels remove with ease, as if they were unraveling him (i.e., his soul from him) due to their briskness. This is the meaning of Allah's statement,

(By those who free briskly.) This has been mentioned by Ibn `Abbas. In reference to Allah's statement,

(And by the swimmers, swimming.) Ibn Mas`ud said, "They are the angels.'' Similar statements have been reported from `Ali, Mujahid, Sa`id bin Jubayr, and Abu Salih. Concerning Allah's statement,

(And by the racers, racing.) It has been narrated from `Ali, Masruq, Mujahid, Abu Salih, and Al-Hasan Al-Basri that this means the angels. Then Allah says,

(And by those who arrange affairs.) `Ali, Mujahid, `Ata', Abu Salih, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, Ar-Rabi` bin Anas, and As-Suddi all said, "They are the angels.'' Al-Hasan added, "They control the affairs from the heaven to the earth, meaning by the command of their Lord, the Mighty and Majestic.''" ( Surah An Naziat)

I hope Inshallah it was helpfull for you on some way dear brother. :tti_sister:

May Allah bless you
