Salaat While Flying

So, on Saturday this week, I'm gonna be going to the airport to London. And I know that it's my duty to do Salat on the correct time, but I don't know how I'm supposed to do Salat on a plane. And another thing is that what if I can't face the Qiblah? Cause you know how it's like on a plane: it moves around, and you might've been facing east but then a minute later your facing in another direction.

A thing that I can do is keep my Salat Qazour (Late) and do it when I get to London but if I do do my Salat on time it's a reward for me, AND I'm going to be doing something in the Path Of Allah. And I also don't think that flying on a plane is an excuse to miss your Salat.

Oh yeah and if anyone's living in London I think my plane is gonna be landing there (Since that's were my cousons live)

I'd also appreciated it if I got a quick reply to since I've only a couple of days left.

Jazakallahy Kyr all my brothers and sisters. So, when I do Salat in the plane, even if I'm not facing the Qiblah, should I do Salat on a prayer rug? Cause I'm willing to do that because if I sit for Salat my reward will be half of the reward that I'll receive from standing.

And I don't think that I'm gonna fall down either. I jsut want to know Islamically if I could stand while doing salat on a plane. Okh yeah I'm going on the Virgin Atlantic too.

Combining Prayers!

Asslamo Allaikum Brother,

It is permissable to combine prayers (ZOHAR+ASAR & then MAGHRIB+ESHA)when you are travelling....

Even if you and your family are following Hanafi Madhab; it is permissable to act on a ruling from Shaf'ae Madhab as detailed in "Hashiya dur ul mukhtar"

This MAY alleviate your need to do any prayers in the plane, Insha'Allah.

^ I know that I can combine them bro, and I'm the only Orthadox in my family. My dad said for me to just combine the Salats, and my sisters and mothers wouldn't really care and just do it Qadar. My mom knows she has to do her Salat on time, but when she's not at home, she just thinks about doing it later, while I think of doing it right on the spot, right on the time!

But I don't like doing my Salat late, and our Nabi (SAW) didn't do that. And I want to go in the path of Allah, by not combining it and it makes me feel like a true Muslim when I do that. Oh brother, can you also reply to my new thread in the private Section :Some Advie? Cause I need it badly!!

Just one comment....

Combining Salat is SUNNAH when you are travelling and in Jihad so FOLLOW the Sunnah & Allah (SWT)'s help will be with you, Insha'Allah.
