Salam alaikum... just found the site and look forward to posting.

I live in southern california and am a non-revert white muslim guy. I suppose that's all I have the energy for now... I just woke up.

Alhamdulillaah, Allaahu Akbar, Subhaanallaah.

It is for your benefit that you woke up. Allaah is merciful.

Just a few advises my dear brother in Islaam:

* Do not forget your daily 5 time prayers.
* Read Qur'an daily with the meaning at least 10 verses.
* Read at least a Hadith daily.
* Give something on charity within your capacity.
* Behave kindly with your neighbours, friends, colleagues etc.
* Pray for your parents.
* If your parents are alive try your best to see them daily and talk to them nicely and try to fulfill their needs.

While praying (Du'a) to Allaah, please include me too in it.
