Asalaamu'Alykum,
Well brother relating to those Tawheed lectures, you know what i mean.
It was practiced, because if you do it yourself then you can still attain perfect Tawheed Inshallah.
Image attached shows what to recite that will punish the jinn, if one is posessed.
Although one thing to note, only to relise Jinn possession has occured is if certains thing happen such symptoms when one is awake: "Erratic behaviour in one's words, deed and movements. Allah (S.W.T) says:
Those who eat Ribâ[] (usury) will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Shaitân (Satan) leading him to insanity. That is because they say: "Trading is only like Ribâ (usury)," whereas Allâh has permitted trading and forbidden Ribâ (usury). So whosoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops eating Ribâ (usury) shall not be punished for the past; his case is for Allâh (to judge); but whoever returns [to Ribâ (usury)], such are the dwellers of the Fire - they will abide therein (275)
Thats just one thing, symptoms when one is asleep: "Frightening nightmares, which includes seeing various kinds of creatures such as ghosts or apparitions, seeing oneself falling from a high place, seeing people in strange forms, and snakes.
Inshallah that made sense. Refer to the Ruqyah chapter in Kitab-at-Tawheed, as well as the lecture.
P.S: What i have said was some of the stuff i remembered from Sheikh Yasir Qadhi's lectures on one of the chapters in Kitab-at-Tawheed. Also i will have a bit of look in the book "The Jinn and Human Sickness" Inshallah.
Alhamdulilah
Wasalam
