No wonder he was removed from IslamQA lol. I feel sorry for his father, Shaykh Suhaib Hassan, he's a great shaykh mashaAllaah.

^What's funny is that at the same time there are scientists who have accepted Islam through science and reject evolution.

And apparently Usama believes hijaab isn't obligatory but I haven't seen him say that, so it might just be rumours... Once on IslamQA he said that music is permissable. There was even an event with him vs. S. Murtaza Khan about music and he was debating that it's permissable, whilst S. Murtaza was proving that it's haraam. And this guy supports British troops on the 'war on terror'.

What would be nice to know is would people still be allowed to pray behind him?

His article is on the guardian (as far as I remember), and no he still does not deny what he said. He not only denied it, but he mocked the people who have beards and wear niqaab- One of the nullifiers of Islaam.

Also regarding evolution, he was asked "Does Adam `alayhis salaam have parents" to which he answered 'Yes', human like ¬_¬

Shaykh `Abdur-Rahmaan al Barraak said it is not permissible to pray behind him, and so did Shaykh Saleh as-Sadlaan. Ash-Shaykh al Barraak made takfeer on a person who believes in evolution.

My dear brothers and sisters this statement of Dr. Usama Hassan is a statement of kufur and the defence of Dr. Suhaib Hassan is not accepted and it is essential to say that they both must be boycotted and Masjid At-Tawheed is to be abondoned as long as these two are in for Leading the prayer, giving the Khutbah, teachings or lecturing.



This my own advice as I said in my previous email and it is even confirmed after discussing this issue with Shaikh Wassiullah Abbass on Wednesday 22 Safar 1432 (26 Jan 2011) who agreed that they must boycotted but he advised of two things:



One is to say to Shaikh Suhaib to ask him to be brave and write down what he says and sign and to tell him that it is going to be sent to the Ulima here in Saudi Arabia.



Second is to avoid any acts which are not from Islam nor that it can bring anything good but it may make the kuffar happy, but have to encourage the muslim to boycott these two individuals.

I am shocked Suhaib Hasan has changed he had produced many good works but now they are trying telling its 1400 years of ignorance.

@ ayman1: Obviously the point of contention isn't the idea that things change or 'evolve' over time. Evolution has largely been used to cancel out the possibility of there being a God, its had that desired effect. Thats why we have idiots like Dawkins teaching 5 yr olds theres no God.

About praying behind is very clear, but making takfeeer should be something someone should be careful about and wait for the scholars.

But why would he mock the beard if he's got one and his dad's got one too? Strange guy lol.

He also was asked somewhere in the videos if Adam and Huwa were human and he said something like they were... of some sort. Basically he's trying to say they were partly monkeys/partly human.

I still feel sorry for shaykh Suhaib Hassan because his son is a test for him and I'm sure any father would defend his son. If he's too harsh on Usama, then that might drive him away more. And who knows, maybe he tells his son off behind closed doors lol.

Yikes this is really bad. Shaykh Shuaib really hit hard on all the innovators in Leytonstone. Apparently, he told the woman to divorce their husbands if they were innovators. And now Masjid Tawhid`s got an Imam who believes that we evolved from Apes! This is worse than the things that happen in Finsbury park

A fathers love for his child.

May Allah rectify our affairs.

And i was told we are supposed to believe in adaptation not evolution
