action to demand that Congress and the State Department stop funding the Israeli government, which has been starving the city of Gaza and has begun carrying out murderous military attacks. Hundreds of Palestinians were killed in just the first day of the attacks, and the Israeli miltiary has stated the attacks are "only just beginning." Because of the U.S.-backed Israeli blockade and strangulation of the people of Gaza for the past 18 months there is little or no medicine to treat the wounded, electricity for hospitals, or food or clean water for much of the population. A recent United Nations report states that the blockade and siege of Gaza, which began 18 months ago after the democratic election of the Hamas government, has now resulted in a 49 percent unemployment rate for the citizens of Gaza. Gaza City residents are without electricity for up to 16 hours a day and half the city's residents receive water only once a week for a few hours. The UN report added that 80 percent of Palestinians living in Gaza are obliged to drink polluted water. I urge you to take action yourself and spread the word!

Please Brother and Sisters in USA take this address and mass mail it to everybody you can. Even non muslims will be willing to complete this form.

I have added a link to a website where you can send a letter to congressman and senator to stop the current funding which resulted in many Gaza deaths. The website is a prewritten letter where you only need to enter name and address and will allow you to mail it or send an email to your representatives. I think regular mail would be better but it's your choice. Of course you can change what it says to whatever you would like.
