Too many people have generalised and can't differentiate between the Jews, the Zionists and anyone else linked to them. It is true that a number of Jews don't support Zionism, and what is happening in Palestine. However, that doesn't mean we start calling them "cool".

:salam2:with all due respect i didn t ask you to call him cool i stated this according to comments i consider to be truthful well reflected and courageous so i was in the mood for the word cool because in such a warm heated and most of the time a kind of emotional subject he managed to keep a "cool" and a clear mind justice is justice it is not Muslim nor is it a geographical value it is universal the man is saying he wants to live under an Islamic state hello when a lot of Muslims practice secular dictatorships and are not ashame of doing so some of them even spend millions and millions between night clubs and casinos in Marbella spain and elsewhere while the African brothers are treated inhumanly like animals subhanallah in Dubai or the Arab emirates where are the muslim voices what about Darfur what about Tibet and the eXploited meXican workers in the united states who are treated like beasts where are the Muslim voices where Muslims got to get out of their intellectual ghettos as they are witnesses to the whole of mankind not just when it concerns them they should not only be ready to praise their selves but when something is good it is good no matter where or from whom it comes from did not rassulullah s a w say that when he was about 12 years old he attended a meeting of the wise in the old pagan mecca long before al wahiy where was decided that if anyone among the tribe who would have been unjustly treated the whole tribe had the duty to protect him he said wallahi if i had the opportunity right now i would not hesitate to sign the treaty myself again

I was referring to a program that came on ages ago on Islam Channel, I won't be able to find it now unless it's up there on YouTube.

I didn't say be injust to the Jews, I just highlighted and spoke about calling them "cool" for it. If you mean "cool" in slang i.e. that they aren't causing you any problems then there is nothing wrong with that. As for why I mentioned it, it is because praising the kuffaar in general isn't allowed in Islaam, so it was an advice and a caution from it, in case you may (not have) lead to it.

I'm sorry, akh Jameel, but I didn't see the relevance of most of what you wrote, as it seems to be addressing someone other than myself (surely, to conclude what you have, based upon what I wrote then it's a fair conclusion) . In addition it's rather incoherent and lacks grammar.

As Muslims we have principles in our deen, from them is that we do not praise about ahl ul-bid`ah let alone the kuffaar. And we also don't criticise those in charge of affairs, but warning against them is allowed if they have commited clear kufr. Fudayl Ibn `Iyaad rahimahullah, said that the one who praises an innovator has aided in the destruction of Islaam [Sharh us-Sunnah]. The fataawaa of Al-Lajnah Ad-Daa'imah prohibit the praising of innovators, including sportsmen for their skills!!!

Akhi, I'm not a neo-conservative who denies dialogue except with a small band of extremists, rather I was mentioning how some people put things where they don't belong. Primarily I was referring to statements of praise and dispraise.

As I said earlier, I don't see the relevance of what you have written, it looks as though you have become passionate and upset with what I wrote, to the extent that you assumed I was referring to the woman in that clip (and what she said) when the reality is that I was referring to something totally different!!!!!

I made a point, not to be argued, the post here is pertaining to opinions that some Jews hold (it is well known that some of them totally reject Palestine or "Israel" being their land).

Glad that's cleared up. By clear kufr I mean I dont mean that you and I see something and make takfeer of him, rather it is for the scholars and not us laymen, that is what I meant. Sorry I should've made it clear, but yeah we need not to delve into that.

I've seen a few of these now where some Rabbis discuss the situation of Palestine, I have seen placards from protests and all sorts. By the way, if I was referring to the woman in the video, I would've said it more nicely
