Homs today and the neighboring besieged city of Hama were the most attacked cities.

In Homs, the revolutionist neighborhoods weren’t able to sleep due to shelling which was intensified at morning and also during the night demonstrations when thousands gathered in many areas.

Hama, which is still under a tight siege and communications cutoff even satellite communications, we could only rely on testimonies of witnesses who managed to escape somehow, they talked of scary atrocities and massacres that happened during the storming and the shelling and random killing which made the life and medical conditions in t he city at a very risky level.

This is what happened also in Dier Ezzor, where hospitals were threatened by security forces to prevent them from accepting injuries causing medical staff in many hospitals to stop working and some healthcare centers were closed.
Damascus also joined the violent actions in 3 incidents that happened in the oldest neighborhoods, also a strange attack at a silent gathering as a protest by young people in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods.
As what happened after each Taraweeh prayer, cities sacrificed some angry citizens, people was killed in Boukamal, A’azaz, Idlib, Daraa and Dumair, another day with 6 martyrs.

Eyewitness from Hama: Revenge full of hatred (4-8-2011)

Snipers are deployed on the rooftops of all high buildings to target any moving object, they even targeted women and children, especially in Allimeen area where they are heavily deployed. Security forces are wandering the streets finishing of the wounded people and this also occurs in hospitals sometimes, they sometimes ask someone before killing him about who of his family was murdered in 1980s, or they shoot civilians for no reason while they are drinking tea and joking around.

Since the invasion started 3 days ago we have more than 300 martyrs, 120 of whom fell just in the first day, some of them were buried in gardens near houses or public parks or any earthy ground or they stay in hospital refrigerators due to inability to go out and buring them in graveyards or mourning them, and surly names can’t be known due to inability to go out and communication cutoff, there are 140 wounded people that we could reach.

Several buildings were destroyed partially and some projectiles penetrated walls of some houses, a few buildings were destroyed in Hamidieh, about 15 houses were burned in Baath neighborhood and near Manakh mosque in Hamidieh and Aalameen street where artillery shelling was concentrated.

Life conditions are so bad, electricity have been cut off for many days, there is no way to enter food gathered by neighboring villages to the city, and there is severe shortage in medical materials as the government is controlling them and preventing their distribution, many medical staffs dissolved due to fear of shelling and difficulty of moving.
