Hard Rock Moslem
I'm your brother
Assalamu'alaikum,
May Allah make your imaan strong and solid like hardest rocks.
Just thought of sharing what I was listening to the tafseer in the radio yesterday morning, about Dajjal.
Apparently there will be 30 Dajjals altogether, each will claimed to be Prophets as per following hadith:
"There will be thirty dajjals (antichrists) after me, all claiming prophethood." (Bukhari)
Why 30? Apparently few other hadith also mentioned 24, 70 Dajjals etc but some of these hadith are with weak narrations. Hence the Sheikh said the above hadith about 30 Dajjals is strong because from Bukhari as well as Muslim. The Sheikh also explained that 30 Dajjals here refers to big liars because whoever claimed to be Prophet after Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) are big time liars. That is why the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) called them as "Dajjals". It make sense, there is no better liars than those claimed to be the Prophet.
Allah's Apostle stood up amongst the people and then praised and glorified Allah as He deserved and then he mentioned Ad-Dajjal, saying, "I warn you of him, and there was no prophet but warned his followers of him; but I will tell you something about him which no prophet has told his followers: Ad-Dajjal is one-eyed whereas Allah is not." (Bukhari)
The real Dajjal, the chief of all Dajjal will come and will not claimed to be a Prophet, but will actually claimed to be "God" (Allah forbids):
Ad-Dajjal was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet . The Prophet said, "Allah is not hidden from you; He is not one-eyed," and pointed with his hand towards his eye, adding, "While Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal is blind in the right eye and his eye looks like a protruding grape." (Bukhari)
The Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) said, "the Hour will not be established till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allah's Apostle" (Bukhari). Now this hadith made me thinking and worried, how many false Prophets (i.e. little Dajjals) had appeared so far? I know there is already one in Malaysia and he is now in prison. If the numbers approaching fast to 30, that means the promised Hour is not far away from us.
Allah knows best.
Feedback appreciated, jazakallah khair.
