Today i know how it feels to be poor

I was late for work, so i had no time to pack any food. I was under the expectation that i would leave work sometime before iftar and break it a gathering. I couldn't leave work and i was left without food and most of the usual muslims were not here. I prayed maghrib and since the vending machines were not available, i was forced to drink out of the fountain to break my fast...subhannal but i gave thanks for and i felt my iman grow from it.
And when your Lord announced: “If you are grateful, I will certainly give you increase, but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is severe.”) (Surat Ibrahim 14:7)

Alhamdullilah!! We should all be grateful for even the little things, for they mean so much. People are literally struggling just to get water. Let us not take for granted the little things, Allah is so Merciful to us.

Masha Allaah that is indeed a blessing from Allaah swt. This teaches us to be humble. Similar situation has happened to me long time ago at work about to go home, it was around 8pm and I didn't realize I ran out of cash in my wallet but didn't worry as I was expecting the ATM's nearby are working, only to find out they're all offline! Alhamdulillaah my phone didn't run out of battery, I called to check if my neighbour is at home so I could ride a cab and pay the cab from there LoL.
