Today's Imams in The West are a JOKE

1. Tell the imaam what you got to tell; of course within the Islaamic adaab. Tell him the problems that you see and pass to him some good suggestions. . . for the good of your community and the Ummaah as a whole.

2. Prepare yourself with lots of ilm' so that someday, *you* are the one who will be replacing the Imaam and be among the best Imaam your community ever have! InshaAllaah.

I can't advice any Imam who cant take care of his beard and go against the Sunnah of Prophet of Allâh . I must tell him about following the Commandments of Allah and the Prophet . But of course, the Imams would tell me I'm a Jahil and I shouldnt give them Naseeha.

I have told a person who once gave khutbah that he gave the best khutbah... that person at least took care of his beard and spoke about Tawhid!

Brother, sorry to say this, do not expect to get knowledge from any imams. To seek knowledge you need to go to scholars and that is the tradition of muslims. Most present day imams do not have knowledge to teach you.

Knowledge as in hearing new things, get reminded about this Din, yes. I didnt mean getting knowledge to the extend you become Student of Knowledge due to listening to khutbas.

I would say

Todays Imams are a reflection of today.​

Some questions to ponder:
1. Whats an Imaam? Who made him an Imaam? ( the community)
2. Its every muslims duty to do whats best to his Imaan. So why did the community fail to find a better one?
3. And incase some one else who can do better justice to that role, then whats stopping the right move??
4. And why do we always need an Imaam, who can woo us with his oratory skills?

Good question. I made it bold. Who made these 'imams' in the West an Imam? The mosque board.

These Imams, whoever/wherever they are, they should quit and give the job to those who are sincere and are willing to at least teach us who `Aishah, Imam Bukhari etc are! We want an Imam who doesnt fear to tell the truth.

I don't like it when they say.. dont take Islam from the Internet. I mean where on earth are we supposed to take knowledge from if you dont teach us this Din?
