They say Paradise lies at your mother’s feet.
With all the struggles in this life,
How can we defeat,
The trials and tribulations, and
The obstacles in our way?
With the help of our Umi,
Struggling to keep us from going astray.
We may not have understood,
At the time or moment of quest,
But we can look back at Umi’s lectures,
And say, “ She tried to do her best.”
This world is full of sin, amusement and temptation.
Umi had to raise us in it, so we must show appreciation.
By Allah’s Mercy, She gave us her all.
Trying to pick us up after every fall.
All the pain she shared and together shedding tears.
Umi let us know she always kept us in her prayers.
Surely Allah Knows, and Allah knew her best.
Umi!
We’ll always be praying for you,
With love and peace we Lay Our Umi to Rest.
