i know what ur talking about..but i couldn't find them. so i got this instead:

It is reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My Lord gave me nine (bits of) advice and I give them to you. He advised me:

- To be sincere whether in private or in public

- To do justice whether in anger or in happiness

- To be moderate whether in riches or in poverty

- To join (in relations) with those who (try) to cut me off

- To give to those who deprive me

- To forgive those who do wrong to me

- That my silence be thoughtful

- That my speech be mindful (of Allah)

- That my vision be to take admonition. (Reported by Razeen)

These are some very important points of advice that Allah gave to

wa alaykum salam.

Jazakallahu Khayran br. alkathiri, but i felt this needed due mention here too.

THIS HADITH HAS NO ISNAAD!!

Many times it has been deleted off of TurnToIslam, due to the fact that it has no source. When placing something as Hadith, you REALLY should place it's source. This is to keep everything authentic and not bring misguidance into the religion.

So i would NOT trust this as a hadith to any extent, until and Isnaad (train of narration) is found.

P.S. this goes around in e-mails quite a LOT. PLEASE i ask of you, if you get something in your e-mails WITHOUT a source, do NOT pass it on! No matter how many times it tells you to.

Jazakee Allahu khayran Sister Samiha!

Both the hadeeths on this thread have no reference. The one requested, which I know but can`t post, as it may be fabricated. The second one about the nine advices..... I wished somebody can bring a reference for it. ''Reported by Razeen'' is not enough.

oh my god , it is frm Imam Ahmad...hmm...:)

:wasalam:

If it turns out that the hadeeth is fabricated, or weak, it doesn`t degrade Imam Ibn Hanbal (may Allah SWT be pleased with him) in any way. It just means that the chain of narration from Imam Ibn Hanbal until the person who judged the hadeeth to be weak or fabricated (Imam Bukhari, Muslim, Al-Albani, or any other Hadeeth scholar) is defective. Someone in the middle of the chain might be a liar, weak memory or something else. The science of Al-Jarh Waltaadeel is vast and only for the scholars.

On TTI, we would like that anyone who posts a hadeeth to mention the reference. Is it from saheeh Bukhari, saheeh Muslim, or mentioned to be saheeh by another reliable hadeeth scholar? There have been ahadeeth posted that were fabricated.

May Allah SWT show us the right path so that we may follow, and show us the wrong in the wrong path so that we may avoid it.
