I need some help form mathematicians bros or sis`s.
You see in the UK the VAT has increased from 17.5% to 20%. ( 2.5% hike)
Im not so great at maths, only managed a B in GCSE and im not studying it now.
Say something costs £25, and with the 20% VAT in place how much would it cost...or how do you calculate it?
is it 25 × 1.25?
Some geezer is trying to mug people by charging them around £1/2 more
