Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh

I hope this reaches you in the best of health/imaan

I dont know if anyone has started a thread like this before....if so please forgive me for starting this AGAIN.

However, I wanted us to share Qur'anic verses that give hope to the distressed soul. One that will uplift us insha'Allaah.

Here is one of my favorites::

Al-Naml
Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls on Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Little is that you remember! (62)

It makes me feel so good to know that Allaah will also be there for me to answer my dua's and for Him to reassure us that he is there to listen and RESPOND puts my heart into ease. May Allaah make us of those who call unto to HIM alone! ameen

Its OK sister if theres already a post like this, these are my favorite types of posts :) :) :) :)

"And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds: until behold, they arrive there; its gates will be opened; and its keepers will say: "Peace be upon you! well have ye done! enter ye here, to dwell therein." They will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has truly fulfilled His Promise to us, and has given us (this) land in heritage: We can dwell in the Garden as we will: how excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!" - Surat 39:73-74

“The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses -this Qur’an- are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone); Who perform salah and spend out of that We have provided them. It is they who are the believers in truth. For them are grades of dignity with their Lord, and Forgiveness and a generous provision (Paradise)” (Qur’an 8:2-4).

Quran 4:82. Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.

Quran 5:84-85 "And why should we not believe in Allah and in that which has come to us of the truth (Islamic Monotheism)? And we wish that our Lord will admit us (in Paradise on the Day of Resurrection) along with the righteous people (Prophet Muhammad and his Companions). So because of what they said, Allah rewarded them Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), they will abide therein forever. Such is the reward of good-doers.

"And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way." [Surah Baqarah (2:186)] SUBHANA'ALLAAH!

And Allâh increases in guidance those who walk aright. And the righteous good deeds that last, are better with your Lord, for reward and better for resort. (76)

Assalaamu alaikum,

Surah al-Furqan:

Except those who repent and believe (in Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allâh will change their sins into good deeds, and Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful[] (70)

And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allâh with true repentance. (71)

Subhana'Allaah...may Allaah make us of those who repent to him with sencerity. ameen
