Was Khadija a Christian??

I see that there was no come back after that surah. Beautifully done. Kadijah was a Muslim not a Christian. Islam is the fastest growing religion on earth. So many Christians will know people that used to worship with them but now follow Islam. Islam of course has similarities between Christianity and Judaism. Allah is the creator and he created us all. He also has sent his revelations to the earth since we were created. Messenger after messenger. Confirming what the last has said and adding on to the religion or taking away from the religion. Muhammad PBUH was just the last. There is only one true religion and that is Islam. So instead of trying to prove Islam wrong try to follow the prophets all the prophets ways. The point of the religion is not for argument but as a guide to humanity on how to live and how to worship God. All the prophets turned to God for help in times of need and sorrow and he was there for them. Just as he will be there for u if you call out to him for help and guidance. All the prophets were pious merciful and caring. Following in their ways is the point of religion. Religion helps you to be a better person to yourself and those around you. Most importantly it urges and pushes you to have a relationship with the one who created all of humanity. It makes you realize that the world around you is only temporary and that there is a life that u can attain that is much better than this one. The question is do you believe in God and where do you think you will end up. Paradise or hellfire? Heaven or hell? Inshallah it will be paradise for me.:tti_sister:

Khalil2u... You have missed The point brother... I am already a muslim... asking how to come back at some claim posed to me by a christian.

So, You're saying that Khadija was never a christian??? Do we have a concrete proof of that?? Where are the christians coming with this notion from?? I googled it and found one unbiased source that says she was a christian.

Although it does not matter for us Muslims if she's a christian or not, I am constantly engaging in dialogs with christians and I need a solid and effective answer.

I am getting ready to read brother Mohsin's post insha Allah.

this person sounds to me just like few studborn idiots i meet online ,
yapping their ignorance ,
you will be like you answer each and every question but their clocks wont tick the next second and when everything is answered they come back to the same basic question ,,
which is very frustrating but is a common trait ,
no knowledge about islam and no willing to learn from muslims ,

you will be like you answer each and every question but their clocks wont tick the next second and when everything is answered they come back to the same basic question ,,
which is very frustrating but is a common trait ,
no knowledge about islam and no willing to learn from muslims ,

As ALLAH says in Holy Quran

"Verily, you (O Muhammad ) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills." (V.28:56).

اعص الله لكن بشروط

إذا دعتك نفسك إلى معصية الله. فاعصه ولكن اليك خمسة شروط !

أقبل رجل إلى إبراهيم بن أدهم .. فقال: يا شيخ .. إن نفسي .. تدفعني إلى المعاصي .. فعظني موعظة.
فقال له إبراهيم : إذا دعتك نفسك إلى معصية الله فاعصه .. ولا بأس عليك .. ولكن لي إليك خمسة شروط ..
قال الرجل : هاتها ..
قال إبراهيم : إذا أردت أن تعصي الله فاختبئ في مكان لا يراك الله فيه ..
فقال الرجل : سبحان الله ..كيف أختفي عنه ..وهو لا تخفى عليه خافية..
فقال إبراهيم : سبحان الله .. أما تستحي أن تعصي الله وهو يراك .. فسكت الرجل .. ثم قال : زدني ..
فقال إبراهيم: إذا أردت أن تعصي الله .. فلا تعصه فوق أرضه ..
فقال الرجل : سبحان الله .. وأين أذهب .. وكل ما في الكون له ..
فقال إبراهيم: أما تستحي أن تعصي الله.. وتسكن فوق أرضه ؟
قال الرجل : زدني ..
فقال إبراهيم: إذا أردت أن تعصي الله.. فلا تأكل من رزقه ..
فقال الرجل : سبحان الله .. وكيف أعيش .. وكل النعم من عنده ..
فقال إبراهيم: أما تستحي أن تعصي الله .. وهو يطعمك ويسقيك .. ويحفظ عليك قوتك ؟
قال الرجل : زدني ..
فقال إبراهيم : فإذا عصيت الله .. ثم جاءتك الملائكة لتسوقك إلى النار .. فلا تذهب معهم ..
فقال الرجل : سبحان الله .. وهل لي قوة عليهم .. إنما يسوقونني سوقاً ..
فقال إبراهيم : فإذا قرأت ذنوبك في صحيفتك .. فأنكر أن تكون فعلتها ..
فقال الرجل : سبحان الله .. فأين الكرام الكاتبون .. والملائكة الحافظون .. والشهود الناطقون ..
ثم بكى الرجل .. ومضى .. وهو يقول: أين الكرام الكاتبون .. والملائكة الحافظون .. والشهود الناطقون ...
إن كنت محب للخير والمشاركة في الأجر والثواب مرر هذة الرسالة الي إخوانك
ومحبيك قال صلى الله عليه وسلم : ' الدال على الخير كفاعله '
لا إلــه إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين
قال تعالى ...مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ ﴿١٨﴾ وَجَاءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ مَا كُنْتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ ﴿١٩﴾ وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيد

Correct.. You are right about this situation. I fianlly gave up on him and told him to keep his religion and I'll keep mine. I'll worship what I worship and he can worship what he wants. We ended it there and he went on his way.

I did what i could. I'll keep trying with others insha Allah. There are among them who know the truth.

Jazak Allah for this nice hadeeth.. But, I don't see any relationship to it and the topic under discussion in this thread.

If somebody tells that islam is taken from Waraqah, ask him/her to give proof that Muhammad (saw) met Waraqah more than once. It is impossible to learn the whole Quran in one meeting. No one can show proof for that. He (saw) did not meet Waraqah by his own will. It is done because mother of Mu'mineen Khadijah (radiyallahu 'anha) asked for that, when Rasoolullah came home in fear after the first revelation. He (saw) was shivering and asked to cover him. Read Surah Muddaththir. ( Ya ayyuhal Muddaththir. Qum fa Anzir. Wa Rabbaka Fakabbir.................................)

The truth is that the Uncle (Waraqah) of Ummul Mu'mineen Khadijah radiyallahu tha'aala 'anha passed away soon after that. Is it possible that only the meetings of Rasoolullah (saw) with Christian 'Ulama is not written in seerah? Indeed, the whole life of prophet Muhammad (saw) is recordedd in books (Seerah).

They know nothing. They are just stubborn without having knowledge of either Islam or Christianity.

Brother be firm on your religion.
