:salam2: dear brothers and sisters once again i'm gonna complain but this time i'm willing to do something. i just need all of your minds put together so we can come up with something great. as i have stated in many other posts from a long time ago- our masjid lacks islamic services. when i say that i mean we have NO ISLAMIC SERVICES AT ALL. so here is my plan inshallah. my and my friend want to start a non profit organization that collects money and other charity stuff for the suffering muslim countries. we think there is someone who may be of help to us, a professor at our university who is very intellect. it seems that in our town Islam is not growing, rather its decreasing. the leaders, the elderly all sit back and do NOTHING. not exactly nothing but they want things going their way, their opinions, ideas, thoughts...not anyone elses. so i say it's time for change. i've been rejected before by one of the leaders because i wanted to gather the youth in the masjid and make khutbah's for them but hey- i'm too young. wow. so anyways i can do without their help. i'm a muslim and i have a task that is uncomplete, but i'm willing to complete it. so we need ideas on how to collect money and stuff for these people and what our organization should be called. and what kind of things we should do to attract people. pls don't hesitate to give us your ideas, we want our islamic community to prosper and grow. but if the elderly and the leaders are not gonna take a step. we ARE. AND INSHALLAH WE WILL SUCCEED, BECAUSE ALLAH KNOWS THAT WE ARE DOING THIS FOR HIM AND NOT ANYONE ELSE. :salam2: love you all.
