Wearing Hijab

well i have been really getting into Islam, and for the last 3 weeks I have been wearing hijab a lot. i wear it anytime I go out in public and on weekends, but yet to where it to school. but i have noticed the safety and security it provides. I dont know why it is but many guys are very aggressive now, well @ least i noticed being in my culture @ least. but guys will say very bad things that only you're husband should say to you, when u past by or if you dont sit there and talk to them , they want to curse you out or have angry outburst. Maybe it is hip hop culture or they just dont have respect I dont know. But now that I wear headscarf I still look nice and feminine without going against modesty or my integrity. But its so funny when I am with my sister who doesnt cover and have long hair she's gets alot of attention from guys,whom will start walking her way and when i come trailing behind, they turn right back around lol.

Isn't it liberating? Isn't it a great thing?

Still..you'll have unwanted attention..this is why when my understanding of Islam increased..even though i was covered i felt..vulnerable in a way..and you feel sorry for your feet,hands, face..and you get the urge to cover them too..and then it's even More liberating..
