Wearing Niqab

Salam aleykum, I am a muslim that will soon move to romania inshallah, and I am asking if u know how the situation for muslims is in romania, can a muslim woman wear niqab? are there mosques in the big cityes ?

Wa-alaykum assalam,

Just a side point, I do not know of the 'situation' of muslims in Romania, but I will say that one can wear the niqaab wherever one wants to regardless of that, the earth belongs to Allaah, no disbeliver should affect the extent to which we obey the laws of Allaah inshaAllaah, don't empower them in areas they should have no power or influence.

I hope Romania is a nice place for you all the same, May Allaah easen your affairs, Ameen.

I think it is hard for women to wear niqab in Romania...there is strong presence of Sufism, that is the recognised "form" of Islam there.

Allahu A'lam, inshaAllah it is not so bad, but it is a non-Muslim country, which holds a lot of prejudice against Muslims, in particular due to their corrupted view of history, about the ottomans etc..
