Subahanallah, what a great talker, so much truth. When I listen to the Quran, it sounds so beautiful, if only I understood it better (translations are nice and all... but nothing compared to understanding the direct arabic).

This is why we should learn Arabic.

JAZAKALLAH KHAIRAN there is no excuse for any muslim not to listen to the holy especially we the non Arab speaking Muslims . We can listen it with translation (english) . Wallahi what the brother Nouman Ali Khan said its true if we listen and i mean not only one sura but at least 2 to 3 hours , thats when you will feel the impact of the holy Quran . You see people who say my favourite Ayah is Ayah so and so but in real sense this person has not listen to the entire Quran with translation . Once you listen to the entire Quran (with translation) thats when you will realise that the whole Quran is superb and owesome and the entire Quran will be your favourite. For those who havent listen to the whole Quran with translation its about time. There is no excuse
