Whatever Happened to Our Respect for Women

You can't excuse all mistreatment and disrespect for women by saying its in Islam. Some of it isn't. And if they really are being treated in an unfair way, then stating the truth isn't letting anyone win - it is, hopefully, the first step in fixing the problem.

It's safer for a woman to travel with other people - safety in numbers. Sometimes, a woman would be just as safe with one man as she would be with a group of women. It depends on the circumstances. Unfortunately, it's not practical or possible to travel with a man at all times.

Dear TTI fellows, I respect and love you all for the sake of Allah SWT and we muslims are one single unit.

I know that there can be times when there will be disagreement since Allah SWT has created us on different patterns and at times its best to keep silent rather then starting a pointless debate which will disunite us even further.

And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning). (36)

There are many many matters that come to us through just the means of media and we do not have any sound knowledge about them and rather than discussing them in a way that might lead us to coming up with a solution to that problem we end up arguing ourselves.

Sorry if anyone feels offended I was just trying to say we have more important issues to take care of.
