where to study islam???

i pray this finds you in the best of imaan....

my dear brothers and sisters i am planing to get out of europe in persuit of islamic knowledge inshaAllah after 2 months .... i had one place in mind but 2 days back i came across another one which was as good as the first ...so brothers and sister i am asking for your suggestions ...

1) where do u think is the best place\madrassa (with less restrictions like age limit and so on)
2)and why do you think its the best

your suggetions will be highly appreciated

I think that the University of Medina is one of the best places to study the dien, because masha'Allah great scholars teach there, and also great scholars teach in the masjid of the prophet s.a.w. First you study 2 years Arabic that's the ma'had after u pass that then you can choose which faculty u want to go in like :Hadith, usuludien wa da'wa/aqeedah. etc
.And i think you can apply there up till age 25, and all u need is a high school diploma masha'Allah. And if they deny ur aply you can go the year after to apply again, and again untill ur 25.
If I would be a brother I would go to Medina University.. but :girl3: Qadr Allaah it's only for brothers:girl3: :girl3:

I think they shouldnt put an age limit for those who like to study especially islamic studies,,,as long as one is keen and show great enthusiasm why deprive them.
Bro Avocado oops Abdul kadir are u born muslim????If not maybe u cud informed them being a new revert to islam you are veerrrryyyy keen to be in the know.. everything islamic including Arabic eh;)

i totaly agree with you sis hambaAllah .... they shouldnt put age limits coz there are those who need to learn but cant go to the best institutions :(
alhamdulillah i am a born muslim and took islamic religious education from primary level till high school level and its the only subject i passed better than the rest Alhamdulillah but i finished high school long time ago and i need to increase my knowledge .... O Allah increase me in knowledge

sister hambaAllah brother Avacado does not get offended or hurt .... infact you bring a smile to my face when i see the name avacado :D

i live in norway but i think its best to study abroad and i thought of dar ul hadith in dammaj in yemen (sheikh muqbils camp) ..... but recently i came across dar al mustafa in tarim in yemen (Habib `Umar bin Hafiz (Hafidhu Allahu) who is one of the decendants of the prophet :saw: )

i have a bit of history of both ... does anyone else got anything about these to places??

i do not know about him . But just a warning he might be a sufi.
But u know just because he might be a sufi we cannot learn from sufis. So i will still encourage u to got there. Yemen is a good place to study. MashAllah..
